"I don't feel qualified." (is dance teacher certification for me?)

ever had these thoughts go through your head? -->

“I don’t feel qualified to lead dance classes.”

🤐

“Will anyone show up?”

🤔

“How will I afford a space?”

😯

“Do I need to create a name and logo?”

🤔

How many times have you thought about that thing you really would love to create, but then let these kinda thoughts hold you back? This is what I call “overcomplicanning” - the combo of overcomplicating and overplanning. It can easily snowball into a giant mental block that stops you from taking physical action on an inspired idea.

Since I started my coaching business in 2012, I’ve been guiding people in the process of launching their creative dreams into action: from blogs to t-shirt businesses to painting careers to dance companies and more. Along the way, I also grew my own dance company from an annual workshop series into a more-than-part-time job.

And now, in what feels like the natural next evolution of this work, I’m leading the Dance Again Teacher Training. I’m really excited to be working with a group of people this year to guide you in the step-by-step process of launching YOUR own dance dream - whether it’s a class, workshop, company or space.

My strength is in seeing your bigger vision and being able to zero in on the exact small step actions you need to be taking now in order to organically bring your thing to life, while avoiding the trap of overcomplicanning.

Check out the training and apply today!

one dance step at a time,

Jess
